Membership Guidelines

Membership at Freddie.

Freddie is a values-based, membership-based community built to support sapphic, trans, and gender-diverse people in finding friends, events, and lovers. We’re QTBIPOC-founded, self-funded, and center BIPOC experiences. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds who align with our values, regardless of race, gender, or orientation.

Application Process

Membership is granted based on a values-based application process. Freddie does not offer immediate or guaranteed access to all users. Access to the platform is reviewed and granted on a case-by-case basis.To join, prospective members must complete an application that asks about identity, intentions, and values. Each application is reviewed individually by our team. We admit members who reflect our commitment to building an intentional, respectful, and affirming space.

Admission is not guaranteed and is based on community fit — not popularity, aesthetics, or follower count.

Values Alignment

Freddie was built for connection, care, and joy across sapphic, trans, and gender-diverse communities. We prioritize BIPOC voices and experiences in all areas of the app — from design to community leadership.

We welcome members of all racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds who share these core values:

• Respect for gender diversity and self-determination

• Care for marginalized identities and lived experiences

• Accountability in how we show up for one another

• Support for BIPOC-led spaces and conversations

• A desire to build—not disrupt—community

By applying to join Freddie, you acknowledge that your participation should align with these values. We reserve the right to decline or revoke membership if a person’s actions consistently contradict them.

Community Conduct

Members of Freddie are expected to:

• Abide by Freddie’s Community Guidelines

• Treat all people with dignity, regardless of identity

• Honor pronouns and chosen names

• Keep discussions and content respectful and non-exploitative

• Use features like personals and messaging ethically and non-coercively

• Avoid behavior that endangers the safety or trust of others

We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, stalking, sexual misconduct, or exploitation of any kind. Reports are taken seriously and may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

We may deny or revoke access at our discretion to protect the integrity of the community. Members must comply with both the letter and the spirit of our Community Guidelines.

Membership is a Privilege, Not a Right

Freddie is a values-based, membership-based community. Access to the platform is not guaranteed and is granted at the sole discretion of our team.

We reserve the unrestricted right to approve, deny, suspend, or terminate any account or membership at any time, for any reason, with or without notice.

We may take such action—including revoking membership or removing access—based on:

• Misalignment with our mission, values, or guidelines

• Violations of our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines

• Behavior that threatens the safety, trust, or wellbeing of others

• Conduct on or off the platform that, in our judgment, undermines the community or Freddie’s integrity

Freddie does not guarantee admission or continued access to any user. We are not required to explain or justify membership decisions, though we may choose to provide context at our discretion.

We do not discriminate based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other legally protected status. Our review process is values-based and compliant with applicable state and federal law.
