Our Mission

At Freddie, we are a values-based, membership-driven community designed for sapphic, trans, and gender-diverse individuals. We center the experiences of Black, Indigenous, and other people of color (BIPOC) and welcome members of all ethnicities who align with our values. Our platform fosters a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. We reserve the right update our Community Guidelines without prior notice. All guidelines listed are effective immediately.

Membership and Eligibility

Membership determinations will never be based solely on race, gender identity, sexual
orientation, disability, religion, or other protected characteristics.

  • Access to Freddie is limited to approved members who meet our eligibility criteria and agree to our Terms, Community Guidelines, and Membership Guidelines.

  • Members must be at least 18 years old. Accurate birthdates are essential for safety. Report suspected underage users to support@freddiesocial.com.

  • Individuals who pose a known or credible risk to the safety or well-being of
members may be denied or removed from the platform at our discretion.

  • Members must use their true identities. Impersonation is not allowed. Only one personal account per user is permitted. VOIP phone numbers are banned to prevent scams.

Respect and Safety

  • Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Harassment, hate, violence, or exploitation in any form is not tolerated.

  • Engagement in Discourse: Posting controversial content and then blocking users or disabling comments to avoid discussion may result in removal.

  • False Reporting: Repeated false reporting to bully, intimidate, or manipulate others will lead to permanent bans.

  • Reporting Harmful Behavior: Use the in-app reporting feature or contact support@freddiesocial.com.

Spam and Scams

  • Respect Our Spaces: Mass-messaging members or posting repetitive content is considered spam and will result in removal.

  • Scamming: Attempting to defraud or extract money, data, or services will result in permanent termination and possible legal consequences.

Be Yourself

Freddie is a space for authentic connection. Impersonation of users, public figures, or organizations is prohibited. Only one personal account is allowed per member.

VOIP numbers are banned to prevent spam and fraud. Attempting to bypass this may lead to suspension or permanent removal.

Protecting Privacy

  • Do not share screenshots, private messages, personal information, or any identifying details of others without their consent.

  • Violations of privacy may result in suspension or permanent removal from Freddie.

We Support Mutual Aid

We support mutual aid, but it must be done ethically and transparently. Mutual aid is always voluntary and never an obligation.

Allowed:

  • Calls for mutual aid posted in public spaces on the app

  • Voluntary skill-sharing, bartering, and non-transactional reciprocity are all welcome and encouraged forms of mutual aid on Freddie

  • Posting mutual aid on your own behalf, including a banner with a Venmo, Cash App, GoFundMe, or similar link

  • Posting mutual aid on behalf of external people (non Freddie members), provided the post includes an official GoFundMe or equivalent fundraising platform link and names the person you are posting for

Not Allowed:

  • Posting on behalf of external people (non Freddie members) and posting only a Venmo, Cash App, or similar payment link (an official fundraising platform link is required)

  • Posting on behalf of someone whose account has been deactivated, suspended, or banned from Freddie

  • Posting on behalf of a Freddie member without identifying them by name in the post. This is considered disingenuous and will be treated as a policy violation

  • Repeatedly reposting the same mutual aid call more than once a day, whether your own or someone else's (this is considered spam)

  • Coordinating off-platform to flood Freddie with mutual aid posts on behalf of a single person or group. This is considered coordinated spam and puts all participating accounts at risk of suspension or removal

  • Calling on any specific group to give money or framing giving as an obligation

  • Using manipulative, coercive, or guilt-based language in mutual aid posts

  • Soliciting money by offering or implying sexual, romantic, or explicit content in return

  • Messaging members directly for money, including those who have donated in the past

  • Blocking members after they decline to donate

Consent and Ethics:

  • Mutual aid must be consensual and non-coercive. Manipulative behavior may result in suspension or termination of membership.

Report Misuse:

  • Harassment or exploitation tied to mutual aid may result in termination of membership.

No Solicitation

You may not use Freddie to solicit or promote:

  • Sex work, escorting, or services adjacent to sex/dating

  • Explicit content or "content trades"

  • Coercive attempts to obtain sensitive information (e.g., nudes, financials, addresses)

If someone makes you uncomfortable—especially in DMs—report them. Safety comes first.

Illegal or Dangerous Conduct

Freddie is not a space for promoting or engaging in harmful or criminal activity. We reserve the right to deny or revoke membership if we become aware of conduct—on or off the platform—that may endanger others or violate our safety standards. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Manufacturing or distributing illegal substances or weapons

  • Sharing content that encourages chemical, biological, or physical harm

  • Participating in or promoting acts of violence or serious criminal behavior

We may report serious safety threats or unlawful activity to appropriate authorities at our discretion.

Dangerous or Harmful Content

Strictly prohibited:

  • Creating, using, or distributing explosives or weapons

  • Manufacturing illegal substances, drugs, or poisons

  • Using chemical agents or hazardous materials

  • Encouraging violence, death, or physical harm

Violations will result in immediate termination and possible law enforcement referral.

Misinformation

  • Do not spread false or misleading information about health, safety, politics, or other sensitive issues.

  • This includes conspiracy theories, manipulated content, or harmful disinformation.

  • Violations may result in permanent removal.

No Content Glorifying or Encouraging Suicide

  • Content that glorifies, promotes, or encourages suicide is strictly prohibited.

  • Sharing instructions or methods for self-harm or suicide is banned.

Community Safety and Membership Discretion

Freddie is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and secure environment. To uphold that standard, we may deny, suspend, or revoke membership based on behavior—on or off the platform—that we believe may endanger our community or conflict with our values. This includes, but is not limited to, behavior that we determine to be predatory, violent, harassing, or otherwise inconsistent with our values, even if such behavior has not resulted in legal action.

We do not use blanket rules or background checks to determine membership. Instead, we consider the context of any situation—such as the nature of any alleged behavior, when it occurred, whether the individual has demonstrated growth or accountability, and whether it presents a continued risk.

Our safety assessments prioritize patterns of behavior, recency, severity, credibility of reports, and demonstrated accountability. We acknowledge the complexities of both formal and informal reporting systems and do not rely solely on criminal conviction records, which may disproportionately impact marginalized communities. We combine these assessments with our commitment to community safety to make membership decisions.

While we are cautious of systems that unjustly criminalize marginalized communities, we do reserve the right to review off-platform information (including public safety registries, court records, and user reports) when concerns are raised. Membership in Freddie is a privilege, not a right. We may remove any user whose presence, in our judgment, compromises the safety and integrity of our community.

Off-Platform Behavior

Freddie may act on reports of harmful behavior, both on and off the platform, using our reasonable judgment to assess risks to the community. Such determinations are based on factors including the nature of alleged conduct, available documentation, and patterns of behavior.

Enforcement and Updates

  • Monitoring: We reserve the right to review, remove, or edit any content.

  • Membership Actions: We may suspend or revoke membership at any time, at our sole discretion, for any behavior that violates these guidelines or endangers community safety.

  • Guideline Updates: These guidelines may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use of Freddie implies acceptance of the latest version. Review this page regularly.

General Tips

  • Review our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

  • Report issues promptly to help us maintain safety.

  • By adhering to these guidelines, we collectively ensure that Freddie remains a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all members.
