At Freddie, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all users, including children and vulnerable individuals. This policy outlines our standards and procedures to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), address child sexual abuse material (CSAM), comply with child safety laws, and provide a clear point of contact for child safety concerns.

1. Commitment to Preventing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Freddie strictly prohibits any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation on our platform. We actively enforce this standard by:

  • Prohibiting content or activity that exploits, endangers, or harms minors.

  • Using automated tools to detect, block, and remove explicit or harmful content involving minors, including real-time monitoring systems.

  • Implementing moderation protocols and user reporting mechanisms to identify and address inappropriate behavior or content.

  • Taking immediate action against users who violate these standards, including removal of content, account suspension or termination, and reporting to relevant authorities.

2. Prohibition of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

Freddie has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM). CSAM includes any visual depiction of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct, whether in photos, videos, or computer-generated imagery (CGI). This material is illegal, and our Terms of Service strictly prohibit the use of our platform to store, share, or distribute such content.

We actively detect, remove, and report any suspected CSAM found on our platform to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or other relevant organizations.

3. Compliance with Child Safety Laws

Freddie complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States.

  • The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions for minors in the European Union.

  • Any additional regional laws designed to protect the safety and privacy of children.

4. In-App Mechanism for User Feedback

Freddie provides users with an accessible and intuitive feedback mechanism to report inappropriate content, behaviors, or safety concerns. Users can report content or interactions directly in-app by:

  • Clicking on the “Report” button available on posts or user profiles.

  • Selecting the reason for the report, including options to flag suspected CSAE or CSAM.

  • Contacting our support team via email at support@freddiesocial.com for additional concerns.

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team promptly, and necessary action is taken, including content removal, user warnings, account suspensions, or law enforcement notification.

5. Age-Appropriate Features

Freddie is committed to designing features and experiences that prioritize the safety and well-being of all users. Measures include:

  • Prohibiting access to the platform for individuals under the age of 18.

  • Limiting visibility of sensitive content and ensuring community guidelines are upheld.

  • Prohibiting public sharing of personal contact details (e.g., phone numbers, email addresses).

6. Child Safety Point of Contact

Freddie has a designated point of contact for child safety concerns:
Carmen Hernandez, Founder/Director
Email: support@freddiesocial.com

We encourage users, parents, or law enforcement to contact this team directly for urgent or sensitive matters related to child safety.

7. Education and Awareness

Freddie promotes education and awareness of child safety by:

  • Encouraging users to learn about risks associated with online platforms.

8. Enforcement and Accountability

Freddie takes violations of this policy seriously. Upon detection of CSAE or CSAM:

  • Content is removed immediately.

  • The offending account is terminated.

  • The incident is reported to law enforcement or child protection agencies.

9. Policy Updates

Freddie reviews and updates its Child Safety Standards Policy regularly to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices. Users will be notified of significant updates to this policy.
